Al Ula, in Saudi Arabia, was once home to the Thamud people, guided by Prophet Saleh (AS). After they challenged him and killed a miraculous camel, Allah sent an earthquake that destroyed them. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prohibited Muslims from visiting Al Ula to protect their faith from idolatrous influences, emphasizing the importance of loyalty to Islamic teachings in the face of temptations, a lesson applicable today.
